Assets and Operations

IGE has an independently verified resource base of more than eight million carats of rough diamonds and growing revenues from diamond production. The Group operates nine diamond projects across three African countries - Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa.

IGE also owns one of Northern Europe’s most potent nickel sulphide projects in Northern Sweden, where 340 million tons of nickel ore has been identified (257.1 million measured and indicated;83 million inferred).

In addition to our main concessions, IGE holds a number of smaller licenses in Scandinavia and Africa. These assets are not considered core to our operations for the time being and divestment is being considered for some of these.
