Strategy

IGE is an exploration and mining company with a considerable diamond and nickel/magnetite resource base. The Group has a portfolio of four diamond projects in Africa and exposure to nickel (Ni) and magnetite (Fe) project through Nickel Mountain Resources AB, its subsidiary in Sweden. The objective is to maintain a balance between projects of moderate risk and those with substantial upside potential. 

• IGE creates value through finding and developing resources in a controlled and cost efficient way.  Cash flow from producing activities is reinvested in developing current resource base and acquiring new assets.  
• We will work with selected partners to secure the required expertise on different projects. We work closely with local stakeholders to ensure efficient execution and sustainable development in the communities we operate.
• Our approach is selective. We will focus on projects that maximise our resources and capabilities.  
• IGE will work with partners, particularly in the later phases of exploration and into development and production. We see partnership as an attractive alternative to raising capital for large projects as it reduces financial risk and provides expertise.
